Scrap Our Stash - December Golden Globes Challenge

What a fun challenge we have for you this month. Although I'm not familiar with this movie, I love decorating my house for Christmas and last year we got some snow to make it extra special. I used some snowflake paper, two large snowflakes, used a snowflake border punch and a snowflake flair button.

Sketches in Thyme - Sketch #351

We have a fantastic sketch this week at Sketches in Thyme designed by Bev Code. I used these two sweet photos of my daughter's two pups after a couple of days. I also am submitting this for A Cherry on Top Pet Challenge to use a song title with the name "dog" and thought this would be the perfect title for two tired dogs!

This week's challenge at Use Your Stuff is to use silver or gold on your project. I stenciled some circles with Vicki Boutin gold glaze and used some gold papers and accents from Maggie Holmes.

Use Your Stuff - Mood Board Challenge

Hey everyone!  We have something super special going on for the next two weeks!

We are pairing up with Double Trouble Paper Crafting for a 2 week challenge!  This challenge will go from November 19th until December 2nd.

I chose to do Option 1- making a sweet treat.  There is nothing better than cocoa in my favorite winter mug on a cold day.

A Cherry on Top - Amazing Challenge

My favorite on-line scrap store is offering this amazing chance to win your ACOT Wish List.  My list is rather extensive so I have my fingers crossed.  Either way, I was happy to scrap this recent photo of me and my darling  hubby and am so why I am so thankful for him and our love for one another.

This month's Golden Globes Challenge at Scrap Our Stash is A Star is Born.  It just happens that my hubby and I recently had a date night seeing the most recent rendition of this fabulous film. I dug out some older Maggie Holmes papers and Studio Calico wooden veneer stars for my layout.

Use Your Stuff Challenge - Enamel Dots

I love adding enamel dots to my layouts and usually add them in clusters of three. So this week's challenge at Use Your Stuff was super easy for me.

Quick Quotes Geometric Challenge

My friend Louise turned me on to this fun challenge and I knew I had the perfect stencil to use. I used some light texture paste which I colored with some distress oxide ink.  I love how this turned out.

Use Your Stuff Challenge #330 - Friendship

The challenge at Use Your Stuff  is to do a project about friendship.  Most people may think of humans having friendships, but I chose to do this layout about my daughter's two dogs, Willie and Dolly who are both rescue dogs.  They got Willie a few years ago and when they decided to get another pup, we were all surprised since Willie didn't get along very well with other dogs.  But when they brought Dolly home, he immediately fell in love with his new best friend. They are inseparable.
